So excited to congratulate all of the horses and riders that attended this show with us. A lot of first time horses and riders with spectacular results. We attended this show with 4 OTTBs in their first year of showing (for a couple it was their first show)! Everyone had fun and lots of ribbons to boot. Most of the time we played in the mud, if not pouring down rain. Elf went around her first course with her eyes closed, it was raining that hard...what a trooper : ) The next day she stepped up and won a class with Lauren Brouman at their 1st show for horse and rider! Quiet Time was Champion in the 2'6" TIP division and this is only her second show. She is something special! Mallory Brink and the 4 yo TB, Street Cat, were Champion TB crossrails, also their second show. Saratoga Steve was "keepin it real" in the TIPS jumper ring! This guy has an AMAZING jump...hats off to Katie Fink for sticking with him. Really looking forward to seeing how these horses and riders develop.
Old Oak Farmtag:oldoakfarm.net,2005:Post/5863722011-06-08T20:00:00-04:002021-04-19T05:21:03-04:00Congratulations Delaware horses and riders!

At the most recent Delaware horse show Old Oak Farm had several horses compete. Do you enjoy riding, being around friends and horses, learning new skills and having a chance to compete?

The OWU English Equestrian Club is a great way to get involved with horses, learn new things or improve your skills, and make new friends. For members that wish to compete, our club has an IHSA team and there are also plenty of opportunities to compete privately on your own horse or an OOF leased horse. Don't want to compete? No problem...
In addition to the horse shows there are many other social events, demonstrations, lectures, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, clinics, campus events, and other horse-related activities. Just check out our calendar of events! We really do have something to offer for everyone! OWUEET club members all have different riding backgrounds and different skill levels, some have no horse experience at all. The best thing about being an OWU club sport is how simple it is to join. The only requirement is a love of horses and a desire to learn more. Your level of participation is totally up to you.

We would LOVE to have you join our club!
